AI Engineer
Design and ship AI solutions that save real businesses time and money: assistants, document processing and workflow automation.
You will take business problems, such as answering customer questions, reading invoices or routing requests, and turn them into AI systems that work reliably in production. You will own projects from the first conversation with the client to launch and beyond, and help the team choose the right tools and models.

What you will do
- Design, build and deploy AI features and automations using large language model APIs, retrieval (RAG) and agent workflows.
- Connect AI to client systems such as websites, CRMs, ERP, email, spreadsheets and databases.
- Write evaluations and tests so we can measure accuracy, cost and speed, and improve them over time.
- Monitor live systems, handle edge cases and keep costs under control.
- Explain what the system can and cannot do to clients in plain language, and document it clearly.
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of professional software or ML engineering with strong Python or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or open models) and prompt design.
- Good understanding of APIs, JSON, databases and cloud deployment.
- A habit of testing your work and a clear way of communicating with non-technical people.
Nice to have
- Vector databases and embeddings (pgvector, Pinecone, Qdrant)
- Workflow tools such as n8n, Make or Zapier
- Sinhala or Tamil language AI experience

Your first 90 days
